The Power of the Commitment!
It is a Sunday Evening my hometown football team lost the big game. I have to get up and go to work on a job that I don’t much care for in the morning. Instead of doing my laundry I did something else, (I don’t even remember what it was) now I have to do it or go to work with dirty clothes tomorrow. I have to prepare my meals for the week or find myself at every fast food joint along my 45 minute commute to and from work.
I have to finally take down the Christmas decorations.
I have to, I have to, I have to.
But, I can put off this Blog thing. It would be the easiest thing in the world to postpone because… well just because. I did make a commitment to write everyday for the next 90 days. I did make a commitment to share information on this blog that is useful to my readers. I did make a commitment to share of myself and my feelings and knowledge with my readers. And do it without compliant. Hmm…
Oddly enough I am feeling better about the rest of the task I have to complete this evening. I find myself feeling great as I type this very short blog and I know that I can make at least a small difference within myself.
